From a young age Roxy studied ballet, theatre, and film before receiving her B.A. in Film Studies and completing both the Improv and Sketch programs at Upright Citizens Brigade. After which, she'd exercise her theatre chops by coaching physicians on their bedside manner through dramatic improv and simulated role-play during the day, while performing comedic improv and sketch comedy in the evenings. The marriage of both gave her a playground to explore and master all kinds of characters, maladies, accents, and medical terminology.
She's worked with Disney, Lifetime Movie Network, FunnyOrDie, Film Independent, Hearst Global Digital Publications, Lodger Films, TruTV, Buzzfeed, and starred in various commercial campaigns.
Currently, she can be seen on the festival circuit as a lead in the film Just One Night, which premiered opening night of the Los Angeles Film Festival, as a lead in the film 100% (featured by Harper's Bazaar and Esquire), in various commercial campaigns, filming season two of the web series kidadults, of which she's a lead, and on stage at UCB LA doing character work.
She writes between it all.
